When every life counts: rescuers remove a heron that got caught in a tree with a rope
On May 04, at 12:39, rescuers received a report that in the village of Volya-Homulets, Lviv district, on Ozerna Street, in the middle of the lake, a heron was stuck on a tree at a height of about 15 meters and could not free itself.
Rescuers of the emergency rescue unit of the special purpose detachment arrived at the scene.
When the rescuers arrived at the scene, the heron was hanging upside down with a rope on the branches of a tree.
Using a rope and a pole, the rescuers removed the bird and brought it to the shore, after which they took it to an ornithologist for further assistance.
