On August 23, at 1:16 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Pickers of the Lviv district in a “MAN” car.
Rescuers from the fire-rescue unit of the emergency and rescue squad of the Special Purpose Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, as well as rescuers from the 3rd state fire-rescue unit of the city of Lviv, were sent to the scene.
As it turned out at the scene, when the driver was unloading the cargo, he touched electric wires and was electrocuted, after which the car caught fire. Medics who were already at the scene helped the man. Rescuers, using special equipment, disconnected the car from the power line and extinguished the fire.
At 14:37 the fire was localized and at 14:43 it was eliminated. The front wheel of the car was destroyed by fire. Saved: car.
The victim was hospitalized at the scene.
