On November 3 at 10:48, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Dunaiv, Lviv district. The fire started in a 10×4 m adobe residential building covered with slate.
The rescuers of the 43rd state fire and rescue post of the villages went to the place of the call. Pomoriany and the 20th state fire and rescue unit of Przemyslany.
By the time firefighters arrived at the scene of the call, the entire house was engulfed in flames.
There was a threat of the fire spreading to nearby buildings. Due to heavy smoke, the firefighters had to work in special respiratory and eye protection devices. At 11:52 a.m. firefighters localized the fire, and at 12:33 p.m. it was extinguished.
As a result of the fire, the fire destroyed the residential building. Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the firefighters, it was possible to prevent the spread of the fire and to save the nearby residential building and farm building from the fire.
7 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
