In the Lviv district, firefighters saved a residential building and 2 cars from being destroyed by fire

On March 22, at 8:16 p.m., rescuers received a report about a fire in the village of Sokilniki on the street Danyla Halytskoho, 16, Lviv District, in a brick garage, the size of which is 5×4 m, of a brick two-story residential building, the size of which is 12×12 m.

Rescuers from the 4th and 30th state fire-rescue units of Lviv, as well as the training fire-rescue unit of LSU BZD, were sent to the scene.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, the garage was partially engulfed in flames. The rescuers put on special respiratory and vision protection devices and began work on extinguishing the fire.

At 8:39 p.m., the fire was localized and at 8:56 p.m. it was extinguished by the 3 units of the gas and smoke protection service.

The fire destroyed the lining of the garage walls on an area of 100 sq.m., the ceiling of the garage on an area of 50 sq.m., household items on an area of 15 sq.m., a garage door on an area of 12 sq.m., an engine compartment on an area of 2 sq.m. “Audi Q8” cars and an engine compartment on an area of 2.5 sq.m., interior trim on an area of 3 sq.m. in an “Audi Q2” car.

Saved: residential building and 2 cars. 18 personnel and 4 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire is being established by law enforcement agencies. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
