Lviv district: rescuers extinguished a shop fire

On 8 September, at 20:08, rescuers received a report of a fire in the village of Streptiv, Lviv district, in a 25x12m store.

Rescue units of the Lviv region were sent to the scene of the incident under an emergency call. When the firefighters arrived, the flames were already breaking through the roof of the building.

The fire was contained at 21:08 and extinguished at 21:53.

The fire covered an area of 300 square metres. Rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading and save two buildings. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by law enforcement.

A total of 33 rescuers and 6 units of specialised equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations.
