The Department of Ecology and Natural Resources purchased chairs for the city’s parks. New street furniture will be installed in the Walnut Grove, the “Sandy Lakes”, “700th Anniversary of Lviv”, “High Castle” parks, as well as in the Zamarstyn Park, the Garden of Memory and the park named after I. Franko. A total of 84 units were purchased.
“Someone likes to sit on benches in the company of acquaintances or strangers. But someone just wants to come and sit on a chair separately, by himself. This is just an additional option for visitors and another type of outdoor furniture. In addition, we plan to install them not only on concreted areas, but also on lawns,” said Oksana Lutsko, deputy head of the department of ecology and natural resources of the LMR.
Chairs were made by Dobro Design Studio. By the way, earlier the company also produced and donated street furniture for a temporary modular town in Stryi Park.
