In Lviv, 400 thousand public transport passengers use LeoCards

In Lviv, 401,023 passengers already use LeoCard transport cards. These are different types of cards: discounted, general, student, and pupil cards.

With this card, travel in all types of public transport is the cheapest for the passenger, and there is also the possibility of transferring.

“Already, 401,023 passengers have their own transport card – a discounted, general, student, or pupil card. Over the past three days alone, more than a thousand new LeoCards have been issued. Thank you for your activity,” says Lvivavtodor.

What a passenger gets with LeoCard:

– The most favorable trips – for UAH 13 with a general transportation card.

– travel for 6.5 UAH with a student LeoCard

– free rides with discounted and student transport cards

– free transfers. With one transfer, two trips within 40 minutes with a general card cost only UAH 6.5, and with a student card – UAH 3.25. Passengers make up to 10 thousand transit trips every day.

As a reminder, general LeoCard cards can now be purchased at Interpress kiosks and EasyPay terminals at major transport stops. An unlimited number of cards can be purchased at the same time. No identity or other identification documents are required.

The cost of the ticket carrier card is 60 UAH. It is important that the general LeoCard always has a balance for a backup trip. Therefore, when buying a card, you need to pay 60 UAH for the card itself and make a deposit of 10 UAH. These UAH 10 remain on the card’s balance, which allows the passenger to make one backup trip even with a zero balance.

Then, in order to activate the card, it must be recharged. Passengers are advised to top up the card in an amount not less than the cost of one trip.

You can top up your card balance at Interpress kiosks and EasyPay terminals. And also online – through the EasyPay app or website. Step-by-step instructions on how to do this are here.

You can check the balance of funds on your transport card: with the help of validators in vehicle interiors, via terminals, the EasyPay app and website, and via Interpres kiosks. For more details, follow the link.

With a LeoCard, as well as a bank card, a passenger can simultaneously pay for his or her own trip and up to three additional ones. For example, you can additionally pay for two more passengers and one piece of luggage, or for three of your fellow travelers. Read more about this option here.
