Today, on 17 September, at around 14.00, the 102 operational line received a report that an emergency situation had occurred during a fire drill in the shelter of a Lviv educational institution located on Horodotska Street, which resulted in students being injured.
The investigative team of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 is working at the scene. It has been established that one of the students of the lyceum accidentally hit a fire extinguisher fixed to the wall with her backpack. The fire extinguisher fell to the floor and worked, spraying a powder mixture.
Police are establishing the number of students injured in the incident. Their diagnoses are being clarified by doctors.
The issue of the legal classification of the incident is being resolved.
