Wood from emergency and dead trees of Lviv will be given to sculptors for the production of works of art
LKP “Zeleny Lviv”, “Znesinya” Park and “Stryskyi Park” will give the firewood obtained as a result of the removal of emergency and dead trees free of charge to the charitable organization “Modern Art Museum” for the production of sculptures. The relevant decision “On the free transfer of firewood” was adopted today by the executive committee of the LMR.
“The charitable foundation “Modern Art Museum” approached us to provide them with dry wood, which we have from cutting down emergency and dry trees, for the production of artistic sculptures. The representatives of the fund will look at the stocks we have and decide what will suit them for the work,” explained Taras Kubai, director of the Department of Natural Resources, Construction and Community Development of the LMR.
In the future, works of art made of wood will decorate the streets of Lviv, according to the Culture Department of the LMR.
