By St. Nicholas Day in Lviv, the city will pay financial aid to the children of combatants who did not die while performing combat tasks. Until December 1, the Lviv Center for the provision of services to combatants accepts documents for payment.
As explained in the center for providing services to participants in hostilities, children of participants in hostilities who died can receive help until St. Nicholas Day (the death is not related to the defense of the Motherland). The age of children is up to 18 years, the place of registration is Lviv Moscow State University. Acceptance of documents continues until December 1.
List of required documents:
- statement (written on the spot);
- passport (ID + certificate F13);
- TIN (individual tax number);
- child’s birth certificate;
- death certificate (father);
- medical certificate/certificate on the cause of death;
- a certificate of the person’s direct participation in ATO/ATO/measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine;
- information about the bank account.
Assistance is provided in the presence of a certificate of a family member of a fallen (deceased) serviceman, a certificate of a participant in hostilities.

We will remind you that Lviv adopted a program to help children of fallen defenders of Ukraine and children of military personnel with group 1 disabilities (obtained as a result of the war). It is about annual one-time assistance for each child in the amount of UAH 50,000 for education and rehabilitation (until they reach adulthood). Documents are accepted by the Lviv Center for the provision of services to participants in hostilities, located on the street Pekarska, 41.
