In Lviv, ammunition from the Second World War was discovered at a construction site

On October 10, at 12:03, the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in the city of Lviv on the street B.

Khmelnytsky during construction work on the territory of the construction site, two objects that look like obsolete ammunition were discovered. The operative group of the 1st State Fire and Rescue Squad of Lviv was sent to the scene, and its employees identified the dangerous finds as 82 mm mortar mines from the Second World War. On the same day at 17:00, the pyrotechnic group of the 2nd Special Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine removed the ammunition and destroyed it according to the established procedure.

In case of discovery of ammunition or things that look like ammunition, it is necessary to immediately report the find to the Rescue Service “101”.
