An artillery shell from the Second World War was discovered in Lviv on Hlynianskyi Street

 

On 23 November, it was reported that during excavation works on the territory of a private household (at a distance of 5 metres from a residential building), an object resembling a munition was found in Lviv on Hlynianskyi Street.

Experts who arrived at the scene found that it was a 76 mm artillery shell from the Second World War.

All necessary measures have been taken to destroy this dangerous find.

Any unexploded ordnance, regardless of its age or size, remains deadly. They can be found in a variety of places, especially during excavation work.

If you see an unexploded ordnance or an object that looks like an unexploded ordnance: Do not touch it! Keep a safe distance away. Immediately report the discovery by calling 101 or 102.
