In Lviv, migrants are taught the profession of carpenter for free

In one of Lviv’s schools for internally displaced Ukrainians, training courses were opened to obtain partial qualifications in the profession of carpenter. Immigrants have the opportunity to learn a new specialty for free, and then – to get a job.

On the basis of the Interregional Training and Practice Center for Innovative Construction, Restoration and Woodworking Technologies, which operates at the Lviv Higher Vocational Art School, courses on mastering the profession of “carpenter” have started. Courses are aimed at rapid and meaningful mastery of basic skills and partial qualifications (2 and 3 categories) in this profession. Upon successful completion of the course, course participants will receive certificates of the appropriate sample, as well as – job offers.

It should be noted that such courses are organized at the initiative of the Training and Methodological Center for Vocational Education in Lviv region, with the support of the Department of Education and Science LODA, Humanitarian Policy Department of Lviv City Council within the UN Development Program and the European Union.
