A fire in an apartment in Lviv nearly claimed lives

On 24 June, at 12:46, rescuers received a report of a fire in Lviv at 11 Zerova Street on the third floor of a four-storey residential building in an apartment.

Before the firefighters arrived at the scene, the neighbours took the woman out of the apartment and the man out. At 12:59, the firefighters extinguished the fire over an area of 2 square metres.

The woman, born in 1962, was hospitalised at the 8th City Clinical Hospital with a diagnosis of second-degree burns. The man refused hospitalisation after being examined by doctors.

Rescuers once again emphasise the need to comply with fire safety rules at home:

Remember that safety is always a priority, so take appropriate safety precautions and avoid situations that could lead to a fire.
