In Lviv, 86 traffic lights have already been provided with alternative power sources and can operate smoothly in the event of a power outage.
This was reported by Lvivavtodor.

- Lychakivska str. – Holynskoho str;
- Pasichna street – Medova Pechera street;
- Pasichna street – Yaroshynska street;
- Pasichna Street – Lysynetska Street – Pasichna Street (building 98);

“The repair team of the company’s traffic light maintenance department continues to install the purchased powerful uninterruptible power supplies. Currently, 51% of the traffic lights in Lviv Metro are provided with backup power. We plan to increase this figure by the end of the year. Given the regular blackouts, it is extremely important to improve the safety of all road users,” said Mykola Vlasiuk, director of Lvivavtodor.
According to Lvavtodor, the company operates 170 traffic light facilities, comprising more than 2,100 traffic lights.
