In Lviv, rescuers granted access to an apartment where an 88-year-old woman was locked in

On January 26, at 13:58, we received a report that rescuers were needed at 38 Sakharova Street in Lviv.

An 88-year-old woman was locked in her own apartment on the first floor of a four-story residential building and could not open the front door on her own. The elderly woman had fallen and needed medical attention.

So, the rescuers used a chainsaw and hand tools to open the door to provide access to the apartment for police officers and medics.

After medical examination and first aid, the rescuers transported the woman on a stretcher to an ambulance. The elderly woman was hospitalized at St. Panteleimon Hospital in Lviv.
