On January 11, at 09:05, the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in the city of Lviv on the street Aivazovsky on the fourth floor of a five-story residential building, it is necessary to provide assistance in opening the door of the apartment.
There was an elderly couple in the apartment. Older people fell and could not get up on their own. The door was locked from the inside with a key, so relatives could not open it from the outside.
Another Lviv rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers opened the door of the apartment with the help of a gasoline cutter and a “Hooligan” crowbar, thus providing access to the apartment where the elderly couple was located for relatives of the elderly spouse, police officers and doctors.
After medical examination, the grandmother, born in 1937, was hospitalized in the 8th City Clinical Hospital of Lviv with a preliminary diagnosis of a closed fracture of the upper third of the right humerus. So, the rescuers helped
and transport an elderly woman using a stretcher to an ambulance.
