The decision to build a reservoir in the “Sygnivka” industrial zone, which will perform a number of functions, including drainage, was made today, November 2, at a meeting of the executive committee of the LMR.
Thus, the decision provides for the clearing of the storm sewer network with the arrangement of a storage pond in order to regulate water drainage and prevent flooding of land plots of the industrial zone “Sygnivka”.
“In fact, we will have another reservoir in the city. Although, first of all, not for recreational reasons, but for reasons to avoid flooding of areas by providing fire protection and drainage functions. Although, in the end, it will be able to fulfill the function of recreation”, – said the head of the department of ecology and natural resources of the LMR Oleksandra Sladkova.
