Two bus routes No. 48 and No. 30 resume operation in Lviv

Starting tomorrow, 20 June, after a long break, two more bus routes will be launched in Lviv: No. 30 with the route Ryasne 1 – Viennska Street (Novyi Lviv) and No. 48 with the route Lubinska Street – Halytskyi Perekhid.

Ataman buses with a low-floor platform will run on route 30. And on route 48 – large low-floor buses of the VDL brand. This was reported by the transport department of the Lviv City Council.

According to Orest Oleskiv, head of the Lviv City Council’s transport department, buses will be tested on these lines starting today at noon. “Today, from 13:00, two buses will run on both routes. The routes will start running tomorrow morning, but not yet with 100% of the buses. Thus, on Wednesday, 20 June, 4 buses will operate on route 30 and 3 buses on route 48. The carrier, Epitrans LLC, will ensure full production of vehicles by the end of the week. In accordance with the agreements, 8 buses No. 30 and 14 buses No. 48 should operate in the city,” said Orest Oleskiv.
