The flag of Great Britain was hung on the flagpole in front of the Lviv City Council as a sign of the kingdom’s support for the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The community of Lviv expresses its sincere condolences and words of support for the United Kingdom.
“Today, the flag of Great Britain is lowered in front of the Town Hall. This is a manifestation of solidarity with the people, who showed an example of extraordinary support for Ukraine.
Queen Elizabeth will forever remain in our memory.
Rest in peace, Your Majesty,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.
