Home for rescued animals launches Ukraine’s first “pocket shelter”

The Lviv Home for Rescued Animals has launched Ukraine’s first “pocket shelter”. It is a mobile application that allows anyone to become a guardian of any animal living in the shelter even from a distance.

“We have been working on this option for about 1.5 years. And all for the sake of making everyone feel like a part of the shelter and join in the help from any corner of the world.

In the application, you can partially or fully become a guardian of any resident of the Home, providing them with food, care or treatment,” the Home for Rescued Animals said.

They added that new options will soon be available in the app: meeting those who are waiting for a family, the results of the shelter’s work, information about the current needs of the shelter, etc.

The app can be downloaded from the AppStore and Google Play.

It should be noted that the Home is home to about 1500 domestic and wild animals.
