On October 1 at 3:23 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Novoyavorivsk, Yavorivsky District, on the balcony on the seventh floor of a nine-story residential building.
Rescuers from the 53rd state fire-rescue unit of the city of Novoyavorivsk and rescuers from the 60th state village fire-rescue post were sent to the scene. Ivano-Frankivsk.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, 2 balconies were engulfed in flames, according to preliminary information, there were people in the apartment. Emergency personnel put on special respiratory and vision protection devices and began rescuing people and extinguishing the fire.

At 3:47 p.m., the fire was localized and at 3:49 p.m. it was extinguished by 2 units of the gas and smoke protection service.
As a result of the fire, the owner of the apartment, born in 1972, was poisoned by combustion products and received second-degree burns on her right shoulder.
The fire destroyed the floor on an area of 20 square meters, plastic doors, 2 plastic windows; the walls on the 5 sq. m area of the balcony of the apartment and the window frames of the neighboring balcony of the apartment on the area of 5 sq. m were damaged.
