On July 15, at 15:00, the rescuers received a message that in the village A local resident, born in 1989, dived into the Dniester River on July 14 around 8:00 p.m. in Rozvadiv, Stryi district, and did not swim out.
On July 17, at 8:20 p.m., the rescue department of the 19th State Fire and Rescue Department of the city of Mykolaiv, with the help of a boat and a rescue rope, pulled the body, without signs of violent death, to the surface and handed it over to the police.
The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region once again appeals to citizens and emphasizes that during recreation near water bodies it is prohibited to:
• swim in places that are not designated by local authorities and are not equipped for bathing people;
• climb on warning signs, buoys, beacons;
• jump into the water from boats, boats, bridges, structures not intended for this purpose;
• bathe alone;
• consume alcoholic beverages before and during bathing;
• allow dangerous games in the water, which are related to the restriction of the movement of arms and legs;
• bathing of children unaccompanied by adults.
