On December 21, at 6:08 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in the city of Skole on the street “VAZ 2109” and “Peugeot 308” collided in Danyla Halytskyi Stryi district.
As a result of the traffic accident, the 36-year-old driver of the VAZ was trapped by the deformed structures of the car. Skole rescuers, using a hydraulic tool, freed the injured man and handed him over to medics. The victim, with injuries of varying degrees of severity, was hospitalized in Skolivsk Central Hospital.
Also, in order to prevent a fire, the rescuers disconnected the batteries in the cars.
5 rescuers and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in liquidation of the consequences of the accident.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the reasons and circumstances of the event.
