A modular town for mothers and elderly people from Donetsk and Luhansk regions was opened in the village of Bortyatyn in the Yavoriv district

40 mothers with children and elderly people from Donetsk and Luhansk regions found shelter here. The houses have all the conditions for living: kitchens, bathrooms and showers. Bathrooms and showers are located directly in the building where the rooms are located.

The implementation of the project took place at the initiative of the Lviv Regional State Administration within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the international charity fund “Safe Path Group”, which financed the construction. And also with the support of international charitable foundations of the USA, Australia and New Zealand. “This modular city consists of 10 containers and is different from those we have opened before. It is designed in such a way that the kitchen, bathrooms and showers are located directly in the building where the bedrooms are located. As much as possible, we want to give the feeling of home to people who have lost it. Grateful to the project manager Sekandar Kvalandar, who participated in every stage of construction – from the moment of choosing a land plot to the installation of the last element of improvement in the territory of the town, to the organization LB-Group and its director Yuriy Kovalchuk – for the quick and high-quality performance of the work, to the head of the Sudovyshnyansk community Zenova Foltovych – for help in implementing the project and solving problems” – noted the head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi
