The Department of Sports of the Lviv City Council invites fitness clubs working in the Lviv community to cooperate in order to jointly support combatants and family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine.
This year, the program of support for servicemen participating in hostilities and family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine is starting to operate in the city. Among the tasks of the program is the creation of conditions for sports, because this is one of the most powerful means for maintaining physical and psychological health, as well as social adaptation.
The mechanism of operation of the program will provide for the reimbursement of certain categories of expenses for paying for the gym and/or its analogue. 50% of the total cost will be compensated from the city budget, the other half will be covered by the clubs.
“To date, we have already established cooperation with the largest clubs in the city, including: Bronx, Olymp, Three Elements, Sport Life, Coliseum, Adrenalin, Leofit, League. We invite other clubs of our city to join the program and do good together,” says Orysya Demyaniuk, head of the military sports department.
