A boiler almost caused a tragedy
On August 13, at 15:39, rescuers received a report of a fire in Drohobych on V. Velykyi Street, on the fourth floor of a five-story residential building in one of the apartments.
The fire was reported by neighbors who noticed smoke coming from one of the apartments.
Rescuers of the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Drohobych were sent to the scene.
At the time of the fire, a woman born in 1993 was in the apartment. The rescuers, working as part of the gas and smoke protection service, took the victim out of the smoky apartment and handed her over to paramedics.
The fire was localized at 15:59 and eliminated at 16:01.
The fire could have been caused by a faulty boiler.
Eleven rescuers and three units of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the fire.
