On October 5, at 05:00, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Drohobych on the street Andriy Skrypnyka, 29, Drohobytsky district, in a one-story, two-apartment brick residential building, measuring 8×8 m in one of the apartments.
Rescuers from the 5th State Fire and Rescue Department of Drohobych were sent to the scene.
At 05:24 the fire was localized and at 06:01 it was extinguished by two units of the gas and smoke protection service.
The body of a man, born in 1973, was found at the scene of the fire.
The fire destroyed household items on an area of 30 sq.m., a roof on an area of 40 sq.m., a floor on an area of 30 sq.m., and damaged walls on an area of 80 sq.m.
Saved: residential building.
10 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
