Fifteen children living in the modular town “Mariapolis” became the pupils. The teacher and nanny of the group are also displaced women from the town who fled the war to Lviv from other regions of Ukraine.
The Sadochka group was attached to the “Piznaiko” ZDO. Various classes are held with the children. The group spends most of its time outside, but in cold or hot weather it can move to a special tent provided by the Malta Service or to a children’s corner in the town’s canteen.
On the opening day, philanthropist Ostap Lun presented the children with more than a hundred cardboard houses, which the children symbolically collected and painted.
We will remind you that there are three modular towns operating in Lviv. More than 1,000 displaced people received shelter from them. In addition, in July, a separate town for pregnant displaced women “Unbreakable Mothers” was opened in Lviv, where mothers and children who fled the war to Lviv already live.
