Effective Actions of Rescuers in Sheptytskyi District: One-story House Saved from Fire

On the night of February 8, in the village of Lopatyn, part of the Sheptytskyi district, a massive fire occurred in a private residential house. According to the rescue service, the fire started in a one-story brick building, and the fire covered an area of 128 m², including the roof and interfloor coverings.

During the incident, a large number of household items occupying 30 m² were destroyed. As a result of the fire, a 56-year-old man living in the house suffered from smoke inhalation and was urgently hospitalized in a severe condition.

Rescue operational teams responded quickly to the call, arriving at the scene within 10 minutes after the report. They managed to localize the fire in less than an hour, and completely extinguish it closer to 03:30. Two units of the smoke protection service participated in extinguishing the fire, involving 6 rescuers and 2 vehicles.

Currently, law enforcement is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. The rescue service emphasizes the importance of strict adherence to fire safety rules and urges citizens to promptly call 101 in case of danger.
