On 21 October, at 15:40, the pyrotechnic group 2 of the Special Rapid Response Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine seized and destroyed an 82 mm mortar shell from the Second World War, which was discovered near the village of Korchiv, Sheptytskyi district, in the forest while mushroom picking.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast reminds that ammunition from the Second World War, despite its size and considerable age, is extremely dangerous.
Do not endanger yourself: under no circumstances touch a dangerous object, carry or disassemble it, or throw it into a fire – it is very dangerous! Immediately report a dangerous find by calling 101 or 102!
