Lviv district: rescuers unblocked the driver from the car
On May 2, at 16:03, it was reported that a MAN truck and a BMW X5 collided on the highway near the village of Yampil, Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, the 44-year-old driver of the BMW was pinned down by the deformed structures of the car. The rescuers used a unlocker and hydraulic scissors to unblock the man and handed him over to paramedics. The victim was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity at St. Panteleimon Hospital in Lviv.
In order to prevent a fire, the rescuers disconnected the battery in the car.
Five rescuers and one unit of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are being established by law enforcement.
