On July 11, at 2:24 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in an open area in the village of Yonychi of Lviv district
Firefighters from Rava-Ruska went to the scene.
The fire was localized at 2:41 p.m., extinguished at 2:55 p.m. The fire destroyed dry grass and bushes on an area of 500 square meters.
The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv Region reminds of the PROHIBITION OF DRY BURNING.
According to the legislation of Ukraine, setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law in the form of a fine:
📍 for citizens from UAH 3,060 to UAH 6,120
📍 for officials from UAH 15,300 to UAH 21,420
In addition, as a result of fires, fire destroys not only dry vegetation and its remains, but also plants, insects, animals and birds. The element of fire consumes all living things in its path.
