All 25 days of war policemen of the Lviv region together with employees of other law enforcement agencies, fighters of territorial defense and representatives of public formations patrol streets of Lviv and other settlements of area and are on duty at checkpoints
This was reported in LODA.
The war continues and the enemy has made sure that there are no safe places left in Ukraine. However, Lviv remains the most popular destination for refugees to leave our country, and hundreds of thousands of IDPs from areas where intense fighting continues have taken refuge in the region.
Lviv region should make sure that people who have experienced all the horrors of war feel safe, have the opportunity to relax and calmly plan their next steps.
Law enforcement officers provide assistance to IDPs, conduct joint activities to maintain law and order, counter military threats, prevent looting, serve at all 16 checkpoints – check documents with citizens and, if necessary, vehicles.
The operators of the 102 police service of the Lviv region are also working in an intensified mode, receiving reports around the clock – more than 97,000 of them have been received since the beginning of the war and all of them have been processed. Of these, more than 900 are about detected marks, beacons and signals, more than 3,100 are about suspects, more than 600 are about drones and quadcopters, almost 650 are about suspicious items, and more than 1,150 are about suspicious vehicles.
The Lviv Region Police would like to thank all our citizens who, without waiting for any instructions, united to help the army, migrants and our compatriots who live in areas where intense hostilities continue and are unable to leave. This is about territorial defense, the volunteer movement, self-defense associations and other useful initiatives of citizens. Everyone contributes to our common cause – victory over the enemy.
Let’s keep the system! Together to victory!
Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦
