Since the beginning of May, KCC specialists have directed more than 3,000 IDPs to international partners and government services, as well as to places of compact residence

Psychologists provided professional help to approximately 600 more people since the beginning of the month.

This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. He also spoke about the results of the advisory and coordination centers of the Lviv region during the past week. Thus, in Sambir Oblast, more than 500 IDPs registered to receive financial assistance from the Hungarian Ecumenical Assistance Service

More than 400 IDPs, in particular from vulnerable categories of the population, received humanitarian aid from the Charitable Fund “Caritas Lviv UGCC” in Yavoriv Oblast. In addition, a new shelter for the residence of 300 people from among forced migrants was opened in Chervonohrad Oblast.

We would like to remind you that consultative and coordination centers work in each district of Lviv region under district military organizations and unite Ukrainian and foreign organizations that help everyone who needs it. Here, IDPs and local residents who are in difficult life circumstances receive free humanitarian and psychological assistance, legal advice, financial payments, and information about housing.

During the week, the following provided humanitarian and financial assistance to the needy: Sheptytskyi Hospital, Rokada Charitable Foundation, Caritas Zolochiv UGCC, Yavoriv District Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, Novoyavorivska RO Red Cross Society of Ukraine, Norwegian Council for Refugees in Ukraine, Première Urgence Internationale – Ukraine . “Caritas”-Sokal, International Medical Corps, HelpAge Ukraine – Representation of HelpAge International in Ukraine. The Danish Refugee Council / DRC, the Right to Protection, the Norwegian Council for Refugees in Ukraine, the Caritas Lviv UGCC Charitable Foundation worked in the legal field.
