The owner died in an apartment fire in Lviv at night

On 8 October, at 00:17, a fire was reported at 57 Vyhovskoho Street in Lviv. An apartment on the fourth floor of a five-storey residential building was on fire.

When the firefighters arrived at the scene, smoke was coming out of the windows and doors of the apartment. According to neighbours, the 40-year-old owner could have been in the apartment.

The firefighters donned special respiratory and visual protection equipment and began extinguishing the fire and rescuing people. As the fire caused heavy smoke, firefighters took 6 residents from the top floor and a neighbouring apartment to the fresh air.
