350 more kamikaze drones have been delivered to the military from Lviv region

Since the start of the project, 9,326 drones have been sent to the front line.

As part of the Birds of Victory project, another batch of drones was sent to the front from Lviv region. This time – 350 seven-inch kamikaze drones.

The drones will be delivered to the military of the 77th separate airmobile brigade, 24th mechanized brigade named after King Danylo, 420th separate rifle battalion, International Legion, Achilles UAV of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Ataman Ivan Sirko, and 80th separate air assault brigade. They will be delivered to the front by Oleksandr Tishchenko, who co-founded the initiative.

More than three hundred drones were purchased thanks to the efforts and support of many benefactors and partners. Part of the funds was provided by the initiative’s permanent partner, hieromonk of the Holy Dormition Univ Lavra and volunteer Makariy Dutka, who has already donated UAH 5 million to the initiative for the needs of the Armed Forces, raising a total of more than UAH 7 million for the military.

Funds for the purchase of the drones were raised during two auctions held at the anniversary of the PRIZMA.CAMP entrepreneurs’ club and Mind Invest Summit 2024. Another source of funding was a charity tournament involving teams from Ukraine’s administrative courts, including the 8th Administrative Court of Appeal.

Lvivoblenergo has also made a significant contribution, working closely with the Victory Birds from the very beginning of the initiative and systematically helping our military with drones and other means.

In addition, the Lviv Region Competitiveness Improvement Program for 2021-2025 provided non-refundable financial assistance to enterprises for the production of goods for the needs of the Armed Forces in the amount of 50% (from UAH 100 to 300 thousand) of the total amount of goods produced.

Numerous partners have also joined this initiative, including Galician Fresh, System Farm, Biomed-Service, and others.

The Victory Birds project is an all-Ukrainian initiative launched in March 2023. The initiative, which saves the lives of soldiers and destroys enemies, is being implemented by volunteers Oleksandr Tishchenko and Ihor Dulyn, founder of the NGO Dobro. Diy” public organization. Together with the authorities, volunteers, and the military, the team raises funds to buy drones. Since the project’s inception, 9,326 drones have been sent to the front line. The project team organizes charity auctions and uses the proceeds to buy drones and send them to the front. Since then, they have raised almost 190 million hryvnias. The project is being implemented under the patronage of Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
