During the war, 165,000 Ukrainians received medical care in Lviv

Ukrainians, who were forced to move from their hometowns to Lviv due to the full-scale war, receive shelter and help here, including medical care. During this time, more than 165,000 people have already received treatment and consultations.

As explained in the Lviv City Council’s health care department, it is about emergency and scheduled care, prevention, vaccination, etc.

Thus, 11,994 forcibly displaced Ukrainians were hospitalized in Lviv hospitals with various injuries and wounds (154 people are currently being treated, others have already been discharged). 133,290 Ukrainians applied for outpatient care at polyclinics, of which 27,894 were children, 2,776 were pregnant women. Mobile teams at registration and temporary stay points provided assistance to 19,806 people.

Hundreds of people suffer every day due to Russian aggression, therefore, in order to make their treatment and rehabilitation comfortable and accessible in Ukraine, in Lviv, at the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center, a multidisciplinary team works with every Ukrainian, providing surgical, physical, psychological and psychosocial professional assistance . Thanks to the support of donors, a prosthetics workshop was opened and bionic prostheses are installed, as well as a new modern rehabilitation building: it is 7 floors with the most modern rehabilitation equipment. Every year, 10,000 Ukrainians will be able to receive help here.
