A month after the appointment, the Head of the Lviv Regional TCC was appointed to another position

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi dismissed Denys Chayuk from his position as the head of the Lviv Regional Central Committee and SP one month after his appointment. He held this position from September 4, 2023.

Lviv.media was the first to report this. This information was confirmed to the Society by the General Staff.

Denys Chayuk was assigned to another position in one of the military units. Who will head the Lviv regional TCC and joint venture is currently unknown.

As reported in the press service of the regional territorial procurement center, Denys Chayuk is currently on site and continues to perform his duties.

About Denys Chayuk

Colonel Denys Chayuk is a member of the ATO/OOS. The man took part in the battles for the Luhansk airport and the town of Debaltseve, Donetsk region. In 2017, he received the medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the deputy commander of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade fought together with the soldiers in Zaporozhye. On March 22, during the liberation of Malynyvka, Zaporizhzhia region, the colonel received a shrapnel wound. A month later, in April 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that Denys Chayuk had been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine “for personal courage and efficiency in battles with the occupiers, for the destruction of enemy equipment and manpower.”
