This day Lviv region experience intense firefighting: rescuers overcame 18 large fires covering a total area of nearly 34,000 square meters. Dry grass does not forgive fire, so the consequences could have been dire had it not been for the prompt response of the fire teams.
The situation was particularly difficult in the Drohobych region, where the fire threatened to destroy nine buildings. However, thanks to the coordinated actions of 82 rescuers and 7 volunteers, the disaster was averted.
Burning dry grass and other wastes is not only prohibited but also deadly dangerous! Such actions pose a threat not only to nature but also to human life. It’s important to teach children about fire safety by setting a personal example of cautious behavior with fire.
Let’s protect nature and the safety of our communities together!
