Already 37 veteran businesses have agreed to participate in the fair on 27 October. This time, not only local businesses, but also those from Chernihiv, Irpin, Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk will be selling in the centre of Lviv from 10:00 to 17:00.
Lviv residents and guests of the city are invited to visit the fair and thus support veteran businesses.
The first veteran fair was attended by 22 participants. Now 15 more have joined, but registration is still open.
The fair will sell coffee and desserts, craft pastries and jams, jerky and pizza, as well as artistic ceramics, books and much more. This time, for the first time, marshmallow flowers and handmade toys, “fighting geese” from an IDP from Chernihiv will also be available.
As a reminder, the Lviv City Council actively supports businesses run by veterans and their families. The city has already issued more than 90 certificates of voucher support – up to UAH 300,000 each – for the development of veteran businesses.
Businesses run by veterans and their families in Lviv are also marked with special stickers “Support a Veteran’s Business” to attract the attention of consumers and residents and to promote businesses run by families of defenders.
The city also created a map of veteran-owned businesses in Lviv and the region.
