More than two hundred modern drones were sent to the front line from Lviv Oblast

As part of the “Birds of Victory” initiative, a new batch of quadcopters, kamikaze drones, anti-drone guns and training unmanned systems will go to the soldiers.

Today, June 19, as part of the “Birds of Victory” charity project, another two hundred DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters and FPV kamikaze drones, which can carry more than 1 kilogram of explosives and destroy enemy heavy equipment, were sent to the front from Lviv region. In addition, defenders will receive 2 antidron rifles.

“Lviv region is once again uniting for a common idea – representatives of conscious business, entrepreneurs, and drone manufacturers are handing over 202 drones to the front. Both Ukrainian philanthropists and international benefactors from the Czech Republic joined the “Victory Birds” initiative. Everyone understands how important it is for the military to be able to defend Ukraine with modern equipment. Drones can save more than one life. Together with the drones, little paper “Victory birds” made by children will go to the defenders,” said the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi.

A new batch of drones will be sent to various Lviv brigades – the 80th ODSHB, the 24th OMB named after King Danyla, the 125th and 103rd brigades of the TrO Forces, as well as the brigades of the Western Operational Command. At the same time, representatives of the 7th border detachment will now be able to use two training complexes, which consist of drones, antennas, remote controls, and special glasses. The devices will work at training bases and help fighters improve their skills.

Note that since the beginning of April, the volunteers of the “Birds of Victory” initiative have handed over 264 “birds” to Ukrainian soldiers. The overall goal is to collect 1,000 drones for the Armed Forces. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the head of the Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Procurement and Social Support Oleksandr Tishchenko and the founder of Dobro.Diy, Ihor Dulyn.

“Each new drone is another step towards victory. Every day, the charity project “Birds of Victory” is replenished with new drones, since the beginning of April, 264 devices have been handed over. The lion’s share of drones that are already working successfully in special forces on the front lines are DJI Mavic 3, modern, light and maneuverable quadcopters with a high level of accuracy and reliability. Thanks to their work, both the equipment and personnel of the enemy can be seen,” explained the head of the Lviv OTCC and SP Oleksandr Tishchenko.

By the way, the first transfer of unmanned devices within the framework of the “Birds of Victory” initiative took place in March of this year thanks to a charity auction. During it, a number of original lots were presented in single copies, the funds from the purchase of which were directed to the purchase of 6 drones for soldiers from the consolidated battalion of the National Police of Ukraine “West”.
