15 schools in Lviv community sort waste

This week, Vasyl Symonenko Lyceum (6 V. Symonenko St.) and secondary school No. 72 (1 Zubrivska St.) joined the project “Separate collection of household waste in educational institutions of the Lviv City Territorial Community.” As a result, 15 educational institutions in the Lviv community are already sorting waste.

According to Lvivspetskomuntrans, the company has installed containers for all waste fractions – paper, plastic, glass, organic waste, mixed waste – on the territory of these schools, which are collected by separate vehicles. Thanks to the colorful containers with brightly colored labels and images, children can easily remember where and what to throw away.

“Modern container platforms with bright and informative stickers will make the process of waste sorting interesting and informative for children. And the habit of taking care of the environment by properly sorting waste will become an integral part of the lives of our young conscious Ukrainians,” Lvovspetskomuntrans believes.
