A 3D printer completed the construction of a school in Lviv

The construction of the first school in Lviv and Ukraine, the walls of which were built with the help of a special 3D printer, is underway on Varshavska Street. The walls in the building for elementary school No. 23 are ready, now they are working on installing the ceiling and communications.

“As of today, as told by LKP “Rembud”, which is the general contractor of the works, the erection of the walls with the help of 3D printing has already been completed, and the printer has been dismantled. Next, the workers set about erecting the load-bearing frames and installing the floor slab. Therefore, internal and external networks will be laid at the facility, and maintenance works will be carried out,” the urban planning department of the Lviv City Council notes.

As a reminder, the additional educational building of secondary school No. 23 is the largest educational institution in the world built with the help of such a 3D printer, and will open in 2024. 100 primary school students will be able to study here.

In a one-story building with an area of more than 500 square meters. there are classrooms, a comfortable hall for children to communicate with, a teacher’s room and bathrooms. Monolithic concrete walls meet new safety standards.
