In the new academic year, almost 1,000 children who were forced to move to Lviv due to the aggressor’s attack will go to schools in the Lviv community.
“The city continues to prepare for the beginning of the new school year. Great efforts of the Lviv City Council are directed to the preparation of educational institutions so that children can safely go to school from September 1.
This year, 8,000 children will enter the first grades of Lviv schools, of which 115 are forcibly displaced persons. In total, about 1,000 migrant children are enrolled in all classes in Lviv,” said Yevhen Boyko, head of the humanitarian policy department of the Lviv City Council.
