Horodok Educational Complex No. 2, levels 1–3, “General Secondary Education Institution of the 1st Level – Gymnasium” has been included in the list of institutions that will receive a state subvention to enhance energy resilience. The allocation of the educational subvention from the state budget for educational institutions for 2026 has been approved in Lviv region.
In total, 12 educational institutions in the region will receive funding for energy security measures. Among the winners of the competitive selection in Lviv district are the Davydiv Lyceum named after T.H. Shevchenko, Zhovtanets Lyceum, Horodok Educational Complex No. 2, and the Lviv Vocational College of Hotel, Tourism and Restaurant Services.
To implement the respective projects, Lviv region will receive over UAH 22 million of state funds. Together with local co-financing, the total budget will amount to almost UAH 32 million.
The funds will be directed towards the installation of solar power plants, generators, inverters and energy storage systems. The new equipment is intended to ensure the operation of the institutions’ critical infrastructure and shelters during possible power outages, so that the educational process remains stable and safe in either face-to-face or blended formats.
According to the plan, all installation works are to be completed by 15 November 2026.
