Lviv graduates who passed the multitest for 600 points received 30,000 hryvnias from the city

The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, presented awards to graduates of Lviv schools who passed the national multi-subject test with 600 points. Therefore, 9 Lviv residents received 30 thousand hryvnias each from the city for their knowledge. A total of 600 points in Ukraine were awarded to 50 applicants, 9 of them from Lviv.

“This year we have 9 students who received the highest number of points on the national multi-subject test. This is actually a fifth of all 600 ballrooms in Ukraine. We are extremely proud of them. These children will receive a 30,000 hryvnia prize each,” Andriy Zakaliuk, head of the Lviv Education Department.

Therefore, certificates were received by:

1. Dmytro Teglivets, a student of secondary comprehensive school of grades I-III No. 91 in Lviv.

2. Bernatskyi Nikita, student of secondary comprehensive school #98.

3. Kyshchun Vladyslav, a student of the Lviv Physical and Mathematical Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

4. Oleksiy Tolkachov, a student of the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

5. Sofia Nashkerska, a student of the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

6. Olena Petryshyn, a student of the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

7. Danylo Kvit, a student of the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

8. Banakh Ulyana, a student of the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

9. Stepan Pyryn, a student of the Lviv Physical and Mathematical Boarding Lyceum at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

It is interesting that Danylo Kvit has not received an award from the Lviv City Council for the first time, as he was previously a prizewinner of national and international Olympiads. He says that this motivates him to become better.

“After the 8th and 10th grades, I was awarded prizes within the framework of the program “Support of gifted youth”. It was for victories at the All-Ukrainian Olympiads in mathematics, physics, astronomy and for the bronze medal of the International Science Olympiad. Such awards are very important, because they give even greater motivation to develop, to study even better, in order to receive another award next year,” says the student.

Danylo also shared his recipe for success on the multitest and gave some advice for future applicants.

“At first, I didn’t know where I was going to join. But when they said that you can choose one subject for the multi-test, I decided on physics, because the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum gave me good knowledge of this subject. By the way, I didn’t prepare for the physics and mathematics test, I just practiced a lot on the tests of previous years.

I advise future graduates not to postpone their preparation for later. The sooner you start preparing, the better the result (and the easier the journey). And it is also important not to focus on a high number of points, but on the absence of mistakes. It is necessary to always adjust myself in this way – I must have zero mistakes,” Danylo Kvit shared.
