The Museum of Modern Heroes operates on the basis of the Horodotsky Lyceum. Video

It was opened in memory of fallen soldiers, graduates of the institution – Taras Kuleba and Andriy Odukha.

In 2014, in the Russo-Ukrainian war, Horodotsk General Secondary Education No. 4 was the first to lose two of its graduates – Taras Kuleba and Andrii Odukh. The institution was named after the defenders.

Taras Kuleba is a grenade launcher soldier of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Died on August 16, 2014 in the village of Krasne, Luhansk region.

Andrii Odukha, a soldier in the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died on August 26, 2014 during the defense of Luhansk airport.

In 2019, a museum of the newest Heroes was opened on the basis of the lyceum to preserve the memory of our defenders, nurture patriotism and a sense of dignity in new generations.

“It is our duty to know the names and stories of our Heroes, to take an example and to do everything so that their memory lives forever. The names of our Heroes are forever in the history of Ukraine and in our hearts. We remember!”, – noted the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

As the head of the region added, the concept of support for the Defenders of Ukraine is implemented for military personnel and their relatives and veterans in the Lviv Region. It provides social security, financial, legal, medical and psychological assistance, training, and this is not a complete list. The concept was developed in the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
