The Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration, together with the Creator IT Academy, is working to organise the regional festival Robotics and Programming Today and in the Future.
The goal is to help students develop skills and knowledge in robotics and programming, promote innovative technologies, stimulate the development of students’ talents and help them find their place in the world of the future.
The festival “Robotics and Programming Today and in the Future” will be held for students in grades 1-11 of general secondary education institutions in Novoyavoriv, Drohobych, Stryi, Sambir, Chervonohrad, Boryslav, and Novorozdil territorial communities in three stages:
- Stage I – registration and inter-team competitions in the city: 15.04-30.04.2024;
- Stage II – a qualifying friendly match between cities. The participants will travel to other cities and compete with each other from 13.05 to 31.05.2024;
- Stage III – the main robotics and programming festival – 03.06 – 28.06.2024. It takes place on the basis of Novoyavoriv, Drohobych, Stryi, Sambir, Chervonohrad, Boryslav, and Novorozdil territorial communities.
The first stage of the festival has already begun – competitions between groups of participants in classes, in each city separately, so that students can get acquainted with the rules for the competition. As a result of the competition, teams will be selected to take part in the second stage.
