Winners of the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year -2023” were celebrated in Lviv Oblast
Teacher is one of the most important professions. It is for the chosen ones. They go to the teacher with their pains and joys, draw strength to conquer new heights, because he looks into the past, lives in the present, and builds a bridge to the future.
“The school is the teacher” – these words of Ivan Franko have not lost their truth to this day. It is the teacher who is the main driving force of quality education.

On June 21, 2023, some of the best teachers of the Lviv region – winners of the first round of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year – 2023” gathered at the round table “All-Ukrainian Teacher of the Year – 2023: successes and problems”.

The participants of the round table were greeted by Oleg Paska, director of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, head of the competition’s organizing committee, and Pavlo Khobzei, director of the Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.

Lesya Gryza, a member of the organizing committee and head of the Office of Coordination and Methodological Activities of the LoIPPO, informed the audience about the results of the first round of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year-2023” and introduced the winners and laureates of the competition.

The participants of the round table had the opportunity to watch video stories about the winners of the competition, and also discussed the issues that need to be paid attention to when holding the “Teacher of the Year” competition next year.

Oleg Paska, director of the Department of Education and Science of LOVA, presented diplomas to the winners and laureates of the competition.
